Rowland Earns Runner-Up At DII Championships

The University of Findlay indoor track and field team completed day one of the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Birmingham, Ala.

Jessica Rowland was the lone competitor for the Oilers, placing second in the weight throw with a toss of 65'10.25 to earn All-American honors.

Sam Lockhart, the champion from Grand Valley State, won with a toss of 69'00.75.

The championships will continue tomorrow beginning with the women's long jump at 2 p.m.
