Oilers Complete Day One Of Toledo Collegiate Challenge

The University of Findlay men and women's track and field team completed day one of the Toledo Collegiate Challenge on Friday, March 29 in Toledo, Ohio.

For the women, Jessica Rowland won the hammer throw with an NCAA automatic qualifying toss of 57.62m, while Rachel Hallman took eighth in the javelin with a mark of 25.20m.

On the men's side, Derrick Vicars took second in the hammer throw with an NCAA provisional qualifying toss of 59.43m, while Marcus Vicars took sixth with a distance of 52.09m.

Jake Miller took sixth in the javelin with a mark of 36.96m.

The meet will conclude tomorrow.
