Oilers Finish up Ashland Open

The University of Findlay men's and women's outdoor track and field teams competed at the Ashland Alumni Open over the weekend in Ashland, Ohio.

Corey Shank took first in the pole vault with a NCAA Division II automatic qualifying mark of 16'10.25.

Colin Thomas also added a first place finish with a mark of 47'01.50 in the triple jump.

Lydia Guagenti led the women's team with a first place finish in the javelin at 124'08 while Alexa Stults (2:17.43) and Kayla Sendelbach (2:18.90) took second and third place, respectively, in the 800-meter run.
