Oilers Complete Dr. Keeler Meet

The University of Findlay men and women's track and field team completed the Dr. Keeler Track & Field Meet on Friday, May 10 in Naperville, Ill.

The men's 4x400-meter relay team of John Guagenti, Darren Johnson, Michael Travis and Dillon Webster placed first with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 3:11.60.

Individually, Guagenti won the 400-meter dash with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 47.67, while Johnson tied for first in the high jump with a mark of 6'06.75.

Tim Majoy placed third in the 3,000-meter steeple chase with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 9:05.31, and Tim Sanders took sixth in the 110-meter hurdles with an NCAA provisional time of 14.68.

Colin Thomas had a solid day, placing third in the triple jump with a distance of 45'10.00.

On the women's side, the 4x400-meter relay team of Maud Sanmiquel, Christine Zimmermann, Shelby Stump and Kirsten Gaerke placed first with a time of 3:50.96. Zimmermann also took 17th in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:18.28.

Pam Showman took sixth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:03.76.
