Oiler Women Compete in Day 2 of Big Meet in Allendale
On Saturday, February 15th, the University of Findlay women's indoor track and field team competed in Day 2 of the 2014 Big Meet, hosted by Grand Valley State in Allendale, Michigan.
The only team to compete for Findlay was the women's distance medley relay team. This group was made up of sophomore Erica Bettac, junior Kirsten Gaerke, sophomore Samantha Grippe, and senior Alexa Stults. Those four placed 13th in the event with a time of 12:15.99, falling just short of an NCAA provisional time.
Both the men and women will be back on the track next Friday, February 21st as they head to Columbus for the Buckeye Tune-Up held at Ohio State University.
