VonIns Named GLIAC Player of the Week

Senior setter Jessica VonIns of The University of Findlay volleyball team was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division Player of the Week on Wednesday, September 7 for her performances at the Oredigger Classic in Golden, Colorado.

VonIns led the Oilers to a 2-2 record last week by leading the team with 33 kills, a .382 hitting percentage and 7.29 assists per set. She was also second on the team in digs per set with 2.57.

VonIns currently ranks fourth in the GLIAC with a .382 hitting percentage and ninth in the league with a service aces percentage of .43.
