The University of Findlay volleyball team fell 3-1 (25-19, 21-25, 25-27, 21-25) to Ohio Dominican University on Sunday, September 18 in Croy Gymnasium. The loss gives the Oilers a 3-6 record on the season with a 1-4 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).
Erin Thomasson and Samantha Granger each had ten kills apiece to lead Findlay while Mackenzie Vorst and Danielle Taflinger added nine and eight kills, respectively.
Jessica VonIns and Maggie Naayers each contributed seven kills while Jacqui Endre recorded 18 digs.
VonIns also registered 35 assists and ten digs in the loss.
The Oilers will be back in action again on September 23 when they travel to Big Rapids, Michigan to face Ferris State University at 12 pm.
