Taflinger Named GLIAC South Player of the Week

Sophomore middle hitter Danielle Taflingerwas tabbed the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division Player of the Week on Monday, October 24 for her performances over the weekend.

Taflinger led the Oilers to a 2-0 weekend on the road with 28 kills and a .556 hitting percentage.

In the Oilers 3-1 win over Tiffin, Taflinger led the team with 21 kills and hit for .581 during the match.  In the Oilers 3-0 win at Ohio Dominican, Taflinger had seven kills and no errors, adding two solo blocks and two blocking assists.  

On the season, Taflinger is hitting .355 with 213 kills and 60 blocks.
