The University of Findlay Volleyball team won their second game of the day and improved to 2-0 with a 3-1 (25-19, 26-24, 21-25, 25-20) win over Lynn University on September 6, 2013 in the Shark Classic held in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
Senior Mackenzie Vorst and sophomore Julie Lyons led the Oiler attack, each drilling 11 kills.
Junior setter Amanda Calhoun kept the offense rolling, tallying 42 assists. She also collected seven digs in the match.
Leading the defense for Findlay were seniors Jaqui Andre and Brittany Hall and junior Samantha Granger, gathering 11, 10, and nine digs respectively.
The Oilers will be back in action tomorrow, September 7, 2013, for an 11:30am matchup with Nova Southeastern.
