Garverick Named GLIAC South Player of the Week

GLIAC Volleyball Players of the Week

Red-shirt freshman Nickyla Garverick was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division Player of the Week on Sep. 22 for her performances in a pair of Oilers wins over the weekend in Croy Gymnasium.

Garverick helped lead the Oilers to 3-0 wins over Lake Superior State University and Northwood University by hitting .552 in the matches. She recorded a total of 18 kills and also had 12 total blocks in the victories.

The Crestline, Ohio native leads the conference in total blocks (53) and blocks per set (1.56).
