Tong Earns GLIAC Player of the Week Honor

Sophomore Hannah Tong of the Oilers volleyball team was tabbed the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division Player of the Week for the second time this season on Oct. 20.

Tong led the Oilers to a 2-1 record at the GLIAC/GLVC Crossover over the weekend and earned a spot on the all-tournament team for her performance in the three matches.

Tong, who also earned the honor on Oct. 6, leads the conference with 256 kills this year. She is also ranked first with 3.46 kills per set.

The Oilers will return to the court again on Friday when they travel to Tiffin for a 7 p.m. match against the Dragons.
