The Oilers are ranked tenth in the first NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Poll, which was released on Oct. 29. The top eight teams in the poll at the end of the season will earn the right to compete in the NCAA Division II National Tournament.

The Oilers have not participated in the tournament since the 2003 campaign.

The Oilers

The Oilers are 19-6 on the season with a 13-3 record in conference play. They are leading the South Division of the GLIAC and have been led by sophomore Hannah Tong, who leads the league with 3.70 kills per set.

Tong's 31 kills in the match eclipsed the previous record of 30, which was set by Mallory Fleming against Northern Michigan on Oct. 14, 2007 and Kara Heitmeyer versus Wayne State on Nov. 1, 2003.

Senior Amanda Calhoun leads the conference in aces with 54 and ranks second in the GLIAC with 938 assists.
