Findlay

The Oilers are 25-8 on the year with a 15-3 mark in GLIAC contests. They have won 10 of their last 12 matches, including a 3-1 win over 6th-ranked Wheeling Jesuit on Nov. 11.
With the Nov. 14 win over Ashland, the Oilers claimed back-to-back South Division titles, the first time they have done so since their stretch from 2001-2003 where they won three division titles in a row.

Junior Hannah Tong, who was named first team all-GLIAC, is leading the Oilers attack as she has collected 473 kills at 3.97 kills per set, both marks are second best in the GLIAC. In the Nov. 14 match against Ashland, Tong became just the ninth player in Findlay history to record 1,000 kills in a career. She now sits at 1,047.

Senior Julie Lyons, also a first team all-GLIAC performer, has contributed 254 kills while hitting a GLIAC leading .406. That percentage is good for eighth best in the country. She has also recorded 90 blocks.

Freshman Amanda Winner has racked up 393 kills, including 97 in her last six matches, and 191 digs while sophomore Nickyla Garverick, second team all-GLIAC, has produced 293 kills with a hitting percentage of .385 (second in the GLIAC) and a team-high 97 blocks.

Freshman Hailee Olson leads the GLIAC, by almost 300, with 1,437 assists and 11.98 assists per set. She also has 153 digs, 54 kills and 49 blocks. Her assists per set are good for seventh in the country while her total assists place her in third. She now sits in sixth at UF for assists in a season behind Kelly Byrnes' 2004 season where she totaled 1,463 assists. Olson also has 37 service aces.

Senior Becca Shoemaker has led the defense with 465 digs. She has 1,392 career digs good for second all-time at UF, needing 84 digs to move into first all-time, passing 2001 graduate, Jessica Luttfring. Shoemaker has played in 463 sets in her career, good for ninth all-time at UF.

Hillsdale

The Chargers enter the tournament with a 23-7 record overall accompanied by a 14-4 record in conference action. They have won eight of their last nine matches.

Hillsdale's offense is led by the play of senior Emily Wolfert who has amassed 288 kills this season while hitting .333, the fourth best mark in the GLIAC. She also has 121 blocks, good for number four in the conference, and has picked up 24 service aces, third best on her team.

There are four other Chargers' players with at least 200 kills and they are freshman Paige Vanderwall (247), freshman Kara Vyletel (242), junior Erin Holsinger (228), and senior Haylee Booms (213). Holsinger is the team and conference leader with 140 blocks and was named GLIAC Blocker of the Year.
