Yellow Jackets Snap Oilers Win Streak

The University of Findlay volleyball team suffered a 3-1 (25-23, 21-25, 14-25, 23-25) loss to Cedarville University on Tuesday, September 20.  The loss ends the Oilers six match win streak and puts them at 6-4 on the season (2-0 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference), while Cedarville bumps their record to 9-2.

Sophomore Hailee Olson accumulated 39 assists in the match and pitched in with seven kills.

Sophomore Kara Scherger led the Oiler defense with 15 digs and senior Mallorie Kah had a great performance at the net, as she contributed nine total blocks.

The Oilers return back to action for a GLIAC matchup with Lake Superior State University on Friday, September 23.  Findlay will host the Lakers for a 7:00 p.m. start.
