Oilers Sweep Panthers

The University of Findlay volleyball team traveled to Ohio Dominican University for a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (GLIAC) contest on Saturday, October 29. The Oilers defeated the Panthers 3-0 (25-21, 25-15, 25-22) and improved to 17-7 on the season and 10-3 in the GLIAC.

The Oilers finished the match with a .376 hitting percentage to guide themselves a victory. Senior Hannah Tong led the way for the Oilers with 17 kills.  Sophomore Amanda Winner added nine kills and team high nine digs.

Sophomore Hailee Olson continued to distribute the ball well for Findlay as she ended the match with 35 assists and showed her serving skills with three access.

Senior Mallorie Kah led the team with two total blocks and sophomore Kara Scherger tied for a team high nine digs and three aces.

The Oilers return back in action on Tuesday, November 1 when they host Wayne State University in Croy Gymnasium at 7:00 p.m.
