The University of Findlay volleyball team added another two wins today September 9 in Erie, Pa. They started the day with a 3-0 (25-14, 25-15, 25-20) win against St. Michael's and then added another 3-1 (25-23, 31-33, 25-19, 25-22) victory over Gannon University.

The Oilers hit .338 in their first match versus St. Michael's. Sophomore Shelby Kin recorded 8 kills, while senior Erika Roach received 7, and freshman Ainslie Johnson contributed 6. Sophomore Natalie Regula led the team with 29 assists.

Defensively, sophomore Jenna Hoppe and senior Megan Wendel recorded 8 digs each.

In their second match versus Gannon University, junior Amanda Winner led the Oilers with a double-double recording 15 kills and 21 digs. Sophomore Shelby Kin contributed 14 kills hitting .387, while senior Erika Roach and sophomore Jenna Delarber added 10 kills each. 

Junior Hailee Olson recorded 48 assists and added 11 digs in the win.

The Oilers were led defensively by Winner and junior Kara Scherger who recorded 21 digs each. While Roach added 19 digs, Wendel added 17, and Olson contributed 11 for Findlay.

The Oilers, who are now undefeated in the 2017 season with a 7-0 record, play next on September 12 versus Hillsdale.
