The University of Findlay volleyball team fell to Wisconsin-Parkside 3-2 (25-16, 21-25, 15-25, 25-23, 13-15) in their second match of the Midwest Crossover today, October 13, in Aurora, Ill. This brings the Oilers record to 16-4 on the season and 9-1 in conference play.
Junior Amanda Winner hit .340 to lead the Oilers with 24 kills and 11 digs. Sophomore Shelby Kin recorded eight kills and senior Erika Roach added seven.
Junior Hailee Olson recorded 48 assists, along with 11 digs and seven kills for Findlay.
Junior Kara Scherger led the team defensively with 19 digs. Senior Megan Wendel recorded 8 digs, while Roach added five.
The Midwest Crossover continues tomorrow, October 14, with the Oilers match against Michigan Tech at 2:00pm.
