Olson/Winner Earn All-American Honors from AVCA

Juniors Hailee Olson and Amanda Winner were each named honorable mention all-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) on Dec. 5.

Olson, who has now been tabbed all-American in each of her first three years with the program, was a first team all-Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) and all-Midwest Region selection for the Oilers in 2017. The 2015 NCAA Division II Freshman of the Year, racked up 1,378 assists for Findlay this season, the eighth-best total in school history. She also contributed 237 digs, 72 kills, 47 aces and 40 blocks.

The Malone, Wis. native has accumulated 4,151 assists in her career, the third-best mark in program history. She has also ranks tenth all-time with 122 aces.

Winner, who was a first team all-conference and all-region pick for the Oilers in 2017, racked up 490 kills during the season. Her kill total is the eighth-best mark in school history. She also contributed 272 digs, 32 blocks and 30 aces for Findlay.

The Versailles, Ohio native has recorded 1,294 kills at Findlay, the sixth-best total in school history. She has also posted 714 digs and will look to become only the third Findlay player to achieve 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in a career next season.
