2018 Volleyball Schedule Released
The University of Findlay volleyball team is coming off of a 28-7 season and will open their 2018 campaign on Aug. 17 when they host Kent State in an exhibition match in Croy Gymnasium.
The Oilers regular season will begin in St. Augustine, Fla. on Aug. 24-25. They will face Saint Leo and Minnesota-Duluth on Aug. 24 before battling Flagler and Erskine on Aug. 25. They will then return home to hold the TownePlace Suites Classic on Aug. 31-Sep. 1. Findlay is scheduled to play Missouri-St. Louis and Ohio Valley on Aug. 31 before facing Ashland on Sep. 1.
On Sep. 7 the Oilers will be on the road at Lake Erie before returning home to host Ohio Dominican on Sep. 11 and Hillsdale on Sep. 14. They will then be at Ursuline on Sep. 15 before welcoming Davis & Elkins and Alderson Broaddus to town on Sep. 21-22.
The Oilers will begin a three-match road swing on Sep. 25 against Walsh before playing Tiffin and Cedarville on Sep. 28-29. They will then be at home against Trevecca Nazarene and Kentucky Wesleyan on Oct. 5-6.
The Midwest Crossover will be played on Oct. 12-13 in Aurora, Ill. and then the Oilers will return home to face Cedarville and Tiffin on Oct. 19-20. The Oilers will then head to Kentucky Wesleyan on Oct. 26 before playing Trevecca Nazarene on Oct. 27. They will then play their final regular season contest in Croy on Oct. 28 against Tiffin.
Findlay will close the regular season on the road beginning on Oct. 30 against Hillsdale. They will then be at Malone on Nov. 2 before finishing up at Ohio Dominican on Nov. 3.
The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Tournament is slated to run from Nov. 8-10.
