Oilers Picked to Finish 2nd in G-MAC

The University of Findlay volleyball team was picked to finish second in the West Division of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) this season as the league office unveiled their annual preseason poll on Aug. 15.

The Oilers received 76 points in the poll and came away with one first place vote. Hillsdale College was picked as the favorite in the West with 82 points and six first place votes. Walsh earned the top spot in the East with 79 points and six first place votes.

The Oilers finished last season with a 28-7 record, which included a 15-2 mark in conference games. They reached the round of 32 in the NCAA Division II tournament and finished as the G-MAC runner-up.
