Oilers Take 6th At Louisville Classic

The University of Findlay men's and women's cross country teams completed the Greater Louisville Classic on Saturday, October 2 in Louisville, Kentucky. The women's team finished sixth in the blue division while the men took 12th.

On the women's side, Christine Zimmermann led the way by taking 28th with a time of 19:02.50.

Rachel Hosie (19:24.41), Alexa Stults (19:29.66), Katherine McHenry (19:29.84), Brier Sterling (19:31.07), Erin Calvelage (19:41.99), Abigail Magner (20:10.37), Stephanie Charnigo (20:14.04), Lindsey Schmitmeyer (20:18.05), Catherine Wiemers (20:35.73), Erica Goeltzenleuchter (20:37.77) also competed for the Oilers at the event.

On the men's side, Justin Eilerman led the way by placing 54th with a time of 26:11.70 while Jordan Kirwen (26:17.20) placed 64th.

Tim Majoy (26:27.70), Brock Lloyd (26:34.10), Shoayb Bascal (26:47.10), Sean Jones (26:50.50), Joe Guerra (27:59.00), Simon Bernard (28:21.40), Colin Walthour (29:11.90), Luis Velasco (29:46.70) and Alex Betts (30:29.70) also competed for Findlay at the event.

The Oilers will be back in action again October 15 when they run in the Wilmington Classic.
