Oilers Have 6 Meets Before Regional

The University of Findlay cross country team will have six meets to prepare for the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional, which is being held on November 5 in Big Rapids, Michigan.

The Oilers will begin their season at the Dayton Flyer 5K on September 3 before taking part in the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational on September 10.

On September 17, the Oilers will run in the Iona Meet of Champions in Bronx, New York before heading to the All-Ohio Championship in Cedarville, Ohio on September 30.

After competing in Cedarville, the Oilers are scheduled to run at the Wilmington Fall Classic on October 14.

The 2011 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championship is slated for October 22 in Ashland, Ohio before the regional takes place. The NCAA Division II National Championship will then be held on November 19 in Spokane, Washington.
