Oilers Finish All-Ohio Championship
The University of Findlay men's and women's cross country teams completed the All-Ohio Championship on Friday, September 30 in Cedarville, Ohio. The men's team placed 14th with 442 points while the women took 25th with 655 points.
On the men's side, Justin Eilerman led the team and took 58th place with a time of 26:17.05.
Shoayb Bascal (26:32.71), Sean Jones (26:33.10), Tim Majoy (26:41.37), Jacob Hayes (27:30.46), Luis Velasco (27:38.46) and Joe Guerra (29:00.37) also competed for Findlay at the event.
The women's squad was led by Christine Zimmermann, who finished 76th with a time of 19:16.79.
Abigail Magner (19:56.19), Samantha Hassen (20:00.55), Rachel Hosie (20:13.33), Alexa Stults (20:36.67), Kayla Sendelbach (20:43.35) and Erica Goeltzenleuchter (21:09.82) also competed for the Oilers at the event.
The Oilers will be back in action again on October 14 at the Wilmington Fall Classic in Wilmington, Ohio.
