Oilers Participate in Midwest Regional.

The University of Findlay cross country teams ended their season in Evansville, Ind. on Saturday, Nov. 7 for the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional.

Men's Results

The Oiler men were paced by sophomore Sean Stockmaster (33:26.6) who finished 103rd.  Sophomore Matias Trampe-Kindt (33:40.9) crossed the finish line in the 117th spot and freshman Ty Gleason (34:07.4) earned 140th place.

Freshman Jonathan Allen (34:39.6) and freshman Michael Taylor (34:44.4) rounded out the scoring by placing 161st and 162nd respectively.

Also participating for Findlay was freshman Austin Guthrie (35:13.5) and freshman Tyler Beck (35:31.3).

The Oilers placed 24th out of 31 teams and had 676 points.

Women's Results

The Oiler women were paced by junior Melanie Ruich (22:21.2) who earned 49th place.  Senior Meredith Hoops (23:06.1) finished 88th, while senior teammate Samantha Grippe (23:40.4) placed 101st.

Senior Mckenzie Mahlmeister (24:10.0) finished 147th.
