Bolinger Wins at Tiffleberg Open

Results

The University of Findlay men and women cross country teams traveled to Tiffin, Ohio on Saturday, September 16 to compete in the Tiffleberg Open. The men and women's teams both took 3rd place overall in their respective races.

Women's Results

Senior Taylor Bolinger led the Oilers and won the women's meet with a time of 22:23.0. Sophomore Madison Borer and junior Torrie Purdy also finished in the top 15. Borer took 10th with a time of 23:54.7, and Purdy was close behind, finishing 13th with a time of 25:03.0.

Sophomore Madilyn Greiner (25:03.0) came next for Findlay, placing 29th.

Also competing for the women were sophomore Jenna Shipman (26:30.3) and freshman Matilda Jeruto (29:44.3).

Men's Results

Leading the way for the men's team was junior Jonathan Allen, taking fourth place with a time of 25:51.3. Junior Michael Taylor (26:43.4) and sophomore Ty Gleason (26:43.6)checked in 15th and 16th, respectively as well.

Junior Jack Adams finished 21st with a time of 27:02.1, junior Tyler Beck took 22nd at 27:05.9 and junior Austin Guthrie was 23rd after crossing the finish line in 27:07.7.

Sophomore Dylan Jacobs (33:56.9) and freshman Joe Lauck (34:13.2) also competed for Findlay at the meet.

The Oilers will return again on Sep. 29 when they compete in the All-Ohio Championship in Cedarville, Ohio.
