Oilers Complete G-MAC Championship
The University of Findlay men and women's cross country teams completed the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Championship on Nov. 3 in Canton, Ohio. The women took fifth with 177 points while the men finished sixth with 158 points.
Gabrielle Lawrence paced the women's squad and took ninth with a time of 23:24.1 while Matilda Jeruto was 42nd with a time of 25:24.7.
Madilyn Greiner finished 56th at 26:12.2, Vannessa Goewert was 72nd at 26:59.1, Torrie Purdy took 74th with a time of 27:08.4 and London Moening finished 101st after crossing the finish line in 29:21.9.
Jonathan Allen led the men's team with a ninth place finish after posting a time of 27:10.1 while Michael Taylor finished 30th at 27:54.5.
Austin Guthrie took 38th with a time of 28:14.5, Ty Gleason was 44th at 28:28.5, Jack Adams placed 64th at 29:06.6, Ryan Kohout was 93rd with a time of 30:13.6, Wade Hopkins finished 106th at 30:40.7 and Drew Toon took 119th in 31:38.4.
