Oilers Pick Up Four All-Conference Honors

Findlay, Ohio - On Saturday, Nov. 5, the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced the 2022 Men's and Women's Cross Country All-Conference selections for this season. Findlay received four all-G-MAC picks. Juniors Noah Fisher and Jordan Foster, as well as senior Gabrielle Lawrence picked up first team all-G-MAC. Junior Maya Hamsher took home second team honors.

Cross country awards are given based on individual performances at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships. The first through tenth finishers are named to the first team while eleventh through twentieth are named to the second team.

Fisher finished runner-up in the men's 8K. He recorded a time of 24:15.1 to finish just seconds behind Walsh's Zach Kreft who finished in first with a time of 24:05.0. Fisher's time today ranks as the third best in program history, only behind times that he set himself. This is his second first team honor.

Foster came in a tie for sixth with a time of 24:54.4. His time is the ninth best time in program history. This is his first time being named to the first team as he earned second team honors last year.

Lawrence finished tenth in the 6K with a time of 22:16.3. Her time today is the fourth best time in program history.  This is her third consecutive first team honor.

Hamsher finished 17th with a time of 22:30.7. Her time today was the eleventh best in the program. Hamsher was named second team all-conference today, the first of her career.
