Top Athletes Since 2000 | Hannah Tong

Since we can't play sports, we have decided to look back on the past 20 years and highlight some of the best student-athletes to wear the Orange and Black since 2000. Our next standout is former Oilers volleyball All-American, Hannah Tong.

Hannah, who currently serves as the Oilers assistant volleyball coach, played for Findlay from 2013-16. She was named a first team American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) NCAA Division II All-American in 2016 and earned honorable mention All-American accolades from the organization in 2014 and 2015. She was also a first team all-Midwest Region pick by the AVCA in 2014, 2015, and 2016.

Hannah was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Attacker of the Year in 2014 and again in 2016. She was also voted first team all-GLIAC in 2014, 2015, and 2016.

The standout was also named the 2016 Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) Midwest Region Player of the Year and picked up all-region honors from the organization in 2014, 2015, and 2016.

She ranks sixth all-time at Findlay with 1,563 kills and holds the school record for most kills in a match with 31 against Malone on Nov. 1, 2014.
