Oilers Defeat St. Joseph's 4-3

The University of Findlay defeated St. Joseph's 4-3 on Thursday, March 8 in Auburndale, Fla.

St. Joseph's held a 3-1 advantage until the bottom of the fifth when Nate Fitch got the inning started with a leadoff single and later scored when Devon Christian triple to right-center field, putting the Oilers to within one run.  Freshman Eric Terwilliger came up big for Findlay, knocking in Christian with a single to right field to tie the game.

The Oilers pulled ahead in the seventh when Reid Rothenbuhler smoked a two-out triple to left-center field, then scored on an error by the shortstop.

Alex Williams recorded the save for Findlay while Victor Migliore picked up his first win of the season in three solid innings of work out of the bullpen.

With the win, the Oilers bring their record to 3-4 overall.  They will be back in action tomorrow when they take on Mansfield in a double header.
