4 Oilers Earn All-Conference Honors

The University of Findlay baseball team had four players earn all-Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) honors as the league office unveiled their annual postseason awards on May 15.

Junior Cam Farrar and senior Anthony Kyle were both tabbed second team all-conference while junior Aiden Lao and senior Jordan Bekier were voted third team.

Farrar hit .324 for the Oilers this season and set school records with 11 home runs and 50 runs batted in. He also scored 43 runs, stole ten bases, hit nine doubles, and smacked four triples.

Kyle finished the year with a 1-4 record on the mound. He posted a 4.16 earned run average and struck out 94 hitters in only 67.0 innings of work.

Lao posted a .332 batting average to go along with 11 doubles, four home runs, and 23 runs batted in. He also scored 46 runs and stole 17 bases.

Bekier meanwhile had a 7-3 record on the mound and threw three complete games. He struck out 60 batters in 57.0 innings of action.
