Oilers Picked to Finish 3rd in G-MAC

The University of Findlay football team was picked to finish third in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) in 2019 as the league office recently unveiled their preseason poll.

The Oilers, who finished last season with an 8-3 record, received two first place votes to go along with 37 points in the poll. They trailed Ohio Dominican, who had 40 points, and Hillsdale, who led the conference with six first place votes and 47 points.

The Oilers will begin their season on Sep. 5 when they travel to Big Rapids, Mich. to take on Ferris State, the top-ranked team in the nation.
