Dickinson Signs with the Arizona Cardinals

Findlay, Ohio – On Saturday, April 25, University of Findlay football graduate Andrew Dickinson signed as a priority free agent with the Arizona Cardinals. Dickinson, a 6-3, 308-pound offensive lineman, becomes the fifth Oilers player in six years to sign with a team in the National Football League (NFL) and joins 2019 graduate Jason Moore, currently with the Los Angeles Charger, as players currently occupying spots on NFL rosters.

Dickinson, a d2football.com preseason all-American, was a three-time all-conference selection in his time at Findlay. Redshirting in his true-freshman season in 2015, Dickinson went on to start in 46 games over the next four years, helping anchor one of the most consistent offensive lines in the region over that span.

A versatile asset upfront, Dickinson earned starts at left tackle, left guard, and right tackle over the course of his career. With the Ashland, Ohio native on the line, Findlay's offense averaged 39 points per game and posted 484 yards per game while landing in the top five in the country in first downs twice in those four years.

"Drew is one of the hardest-working players I've had the opportunity to coach", said Findlay head coach Rob Keys. "His 46 consecutive starts speak volumes about his physical and mental toughness. We as a program are so proud of him getting an opportunity in the NFL. We can't wait to see him play on Sundays."
