Reese's College All-Star Game Release

Senior forward Alex White was named second team All-American by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) on March 26. He was also selected to participate in the Reese's Division II College All-Star Game on March 29 in Evansville, Ind., site of the 2019 NCAA Division II Elite 8.

White, who was named first team all-region and was selected as the Midwest Region Player of the Year, led the Oilers to a 28-5 record in his final season. He averaged 18.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per contest during the 2018-19 campaign. The West Chester, Ohio native was also named the 2019 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Player of the Year, earned first team all-conference honors, and was selected to the G-MAC all-defensive team.

White set a new school record for blocks in a season with 59 and also broke the career blocks record at Findlay with 130. His 617 points this season is tied for the eighth-best total in school history and he finishes his career ranked 40th all-time at Findlay with 1,135 points.

White becomes the fifth Oilers player to participate in the Reese's Division II College All-Star Game. He will represent the West team at the event and will be coached by former Kennesaw State and Dalton State head coach Tony Ingle.

Former standouts Greg Kahlig (2014), Nathan Hyde (2011), Frank Phillips (2007), and Dustin Pfeifer (2006) also participated in the game.
