The University of Findlay men's basketball team claimed a 79-55 win over Ohio Valley University on Dec. 5 in Vienna, W. Va. The win gives the Oilers a 3-4 record on the season with a 1-0 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).
Junior forward Anthony Masterlasco led five Oilers in double figures with a season-high 17 points on –of-13 shooting while junior guard Tommy Schmock and sophomore guard Ethan Linder each contributed 12 points apiece.
Senior forward Aaron Overhiser and junior guard Tre'Maine Gray each had ten points apiece while sophomore forward Deven Stover had eight.
The Oilers will be back in action again on Dec. 7 when they head to Philippi, W. Va. to take on Alderson Broaddus University at 4pm.
