Oilers Add Cox & Schaub

The University of Findlay men's basketball team has added two more individuals to their recruiting class as they announced that Jarrett Cox and Keegan Schaub will be continuing their playing careers with the Oilers. Cox and Schaub will join 6'8 Hayden Stone, who the Oilers signed earlier, on the Oilers team in 2020-21.

"We are once again excited about the additions we have made to our program with this recruiting class," said head coach Charlie Ernst. "We needed to add size and athleticism to help offset the loss of our three seniors. I'm really excited to see the careers of Hayden, Jarrett, and Keegan unfold and develop in our program."

Cox is transferring to Findlay from Fairmont State University and will be a sophomore during the 2020-21 campaign. A 6'3 guard, Cox is a Lakota East High School graduate where he piled up 1,018 points and was named first team all-conference and all-District 15.

"We recruited Jarrett out of high school and are well aware of his talent and athleticism," said Ernst. "We believe Jarrett will be a great fit at Findlay and thrive both on and off the court."

While at Fairmont State, Cox played in 12 games and averaged 1.8 points per game.

Schaub is a 6'1 guard from New Albany High School and will be a freshman at Findlay next season. As a senior he averaged 10 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game en route to earning all-conference and all-District 10 accolades.

"Keegan will be a nice addition to our program," said Ernst. "He is a hard-working, high-character young man who will bring more depth to our backcourt."
