Findlay Earns Second Consecutive Super Regional Berth

NCAA Release

Findlay, Ohio - The University of Findlay men's golf team has officially qualified for the 2019 Central/Midwest Super Regional which will be hosted at the Hot Springs Country Club in Hot Springs, Arkansas on May 9-11.

The Oilers, which finished runner-up in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Championship, were one of the top teams in the region all season. They will enter the event as the sixth-ranked team in the Midwest Region, one of ten teams from the region to advance to postseason play. This will be the second consecutive season in which the Oilers, who hosted the super regional last year, will participate in the event.

At a minimum, the top three teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional will advance to the finals May 20-24 at The Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, West Virginia. The remaining eight team berths will be allocated based on the regions represented in the prior year's head-to-head medal play portion of the championships, with the maximum number of teams from a given region capped at seven. The finals will be hosted by the Mountain East Conference.
