Men's Soccer Falls to Northern Michigan

Marquette, MI- The University of Findlay men's soccer team lost to the Northern Michigan University Wildcats on Sunday, October 23.  This loss gives the Oilers a 6-8-1 overall record and a 5-7-1 record in the GLIAC.

Ten minutes into the first half, Northern Michigan took an early 1-0 lead with a shot from the center of the box.

At the end of the first half, the Oilers attained five shots to Northern Michigan's four shots.

The second half proved to be scoreless as the Oilers fought to put the ball in the back of the net.

At the end of the game, the Oilers had fifteen shots to Northern Michigan's sixteen shots.

The Oilers received one yellow card in the 59th minute, and the Wildcats received two yellow cards in the 52nd and 80th minute of the game. 

Men's soccer will take the pitch again on Wednesday, October 26th against Northwood University at 4:00pm at Armstrong Sports Complex.
