Oilers Win Again | 5-0 at KWC

The University of Findlay men's soccer team improved to 4-1 on the season with a 5-0 win at Kentucky Wesleyan College on Sep. 21 in Owensboro, Ky. The win also gives the Oilers a 2-1 record in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play.

The Oilers got things going early as junior Josh Hales found the back of the net off of an assist by freshman David Hug only 1:38 into the contest. The game would then remain scoreless until the second half when Findlay ripped off four goals.

Josh Dickinson opened up the second half scoring on an assist by Hug at the 58:26 mark. Dickinson then assisted sophomore Taylor Miles in the 65th minute and sophomore Jon Kramer in the 68th to make the score 4-0. Dickinson then found the back of the net himself, scoring the final goal of the game off an assist by sophomore Nathan Skrzniecki 85:10 into the game.

Freshman Andrew Boulton picked up the victory and made five stops in goal for Findlay.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Sep. 25 when they travel to Painesville, Ohio to face Lake Erie College at 8pm.
