Painesville, OH- The University of Findlay Men's Soccer team traveled to Painesville OH on Sunday Oct 9 to take on the Lake Erie College Storm. Findlay looked to improve on their 7-3-1 season record and move up the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Standings where they currently sit in 3rd place with a 5-2-1 record.
Lake Erie was able to able to find the back of the net off a penalty kick in the 77th minute to put them on the board and break the 0-0 tie.
The Oilers could not fight back and would lose 1-0.
Senior Andrew Boulton would start in goal for the Oilers and would record 9 saves in the contest.
With the loss the Oilers fall to 7-4-1 on the season and 5-3-1 in G-MAC play. Findlay will be back on the pitch on Thirsday Oct 12 when they travel to Tiffin to take on the Tiffin University Dragons.
