Timberwolves Top Oilers

The University of Findlay men's tennis team fell 7-2 against Northwood University on April 1 at the Findlay YMCA. The loss gives the Oilers an 8-8 record on the season with a 2-3 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

The Oilers received a pair of singles wins in the match at No. 1 and No. 2 singles. Oriol Ferrer claimed a 6-3, 4-6, 10-7 win over Austin Woody in No. 1 singles action while Nicholas Kopylec recorded a 4-6, 7-6, 10-6 victory over Kobus Sauerman in No. 2 singles.

The Oilers will be back at home tomorrow to host Wayne State University. The match is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
