Men's Tennis Earns All-Academic Awards from ITA

Findlay, Ohio – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced its' Division II Academic Awards for the 2021-22 season and the University of Findlay men's team placed seven athletes on the list and earned status as a Division II All-Academic Team, as well.

Individually, senior Alfredo Berlanga, freshman Luigi Bove, junior Andrew Codita, junior Octavio Carrasco, sophomore Wilfredo Lara, freshman Dallas Ramsey, freshman Luke Miller all earned scholar-athlete awards from the ITA.

To earn all-academic honors, individuals must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher while a team must have a combined GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Within the sport of tennis, student-athletes continue to exceed expectations in the classroom and on the court. In 2022, 545 Division II Men's student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete and 74 men's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
