Megan Fisher Earns Pitcher of the Week

Findlay, Ohio – University of Findlay softball pitcher Megan Fisher has been named as the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Pitcher of the Week for her performance in Florida over the team's spring trip.

A sophomore, Fisher threw 10.1 scoreless innings last week which was highlighted by a seven-inning shutout against Gannon on March 5. The Wapakoneta, Ohio native struck out seven batters on the week and allowed eight hits, but did not a low a run. She also picked up a pair of wins in the circle, as well, earning the win against Gannon and later in the week, picking up the win against Edinboro.

This is Fisher's first career Pitcher of the Week award.
