Oilers Complete 1st Chance at Mt. Olive

Results

The University of Findlay men and women's outdoor track and field teams competed at the Mount Olive First Chance Meet on May 10-11 in Mount Olive, N.C.

Lenell Shelby III led the Oilers as he took first in the 400-meter hurdles with a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 51.80. He also finished third in the 110-meter hurdles with a provisional time of 14.32.

Xavier Marable finished third in the 400-meter dash with a provisional time of 47.23 while Gabe Makin and Ryan Stevens took fifth and seventh, respectively, in the pole vault. Makin reached a distance of 4.67 meters while Stevens hit 4.52 meters.

On the women's side, Meadow Cromer took third in the pole vault at 3.61 meters.
