Oilers Wrap Up Youngstown State Invitational

Results

The University of Findlay men and women's track teams sent several athletes to the Youngstown State Invitational on Jan. 15 in Youngstown, Ohio.

On the women's side, Sophomore Morgan Gaskins won the 5,000-meter run with a time of 19:15.74 while sophomore Morgan England won the pole vault with a NCAA DII provisional mark of 12'10.25.

Sophomore Lindsey Kluesener was second in the pole vault with a NCAA DII provisional mark of 12'10.25 while freshman Hailey Wilson took third in the 5,000-meter run at 19:25.21.

Freshman Jessica Break also competed for Findlay and finished ninth in the pole vault with a mark of 10'08.75.

On the men's side, freshman Noah Fisher broke a school record with a time of 14:52.13 in the 5,000-meter run to take runner-up honors while senior Gabe Makin was second in the pole vault with a NCAA DII provisional mark of 15'10.00.

Freshman Alex Mutchler finished third in the pole vault at 15'06.25 and senior Nathan Bedel took fourth in the event at 14'06.25.

Freshman Jordan Foster finished 12th in the 5,000 with a time of 15:59.68 while freshman Gabriel Foster was 12th in the mile run at 4:31.68.

Freshman Colin Moats also competed in the mile run and finished 19th with a time of 4:41.83.

The Oilers will be back in action again tomorrow when they host Ohio Dominican in a dual.
