2021-22- Named all-American during the outdoor season... Tabbed all-region by the USTFCCCA during the outdoor campaign... Earned first team all-conference for the outdoor season... Holds both the 5K and 10K outdoor program records... Won conference titles in both the 10K and 5K during the outdoor season... 2020-21: Was the runner-up in both the 5,000 and 3,000m at the G-MAC Outdoor Championship...National qualifier in the 10,000m.

2019-20: Thompson did not compete during the indoor track and field season. The outdoor track and field season was cancelled due to the Coronavirus. 

2018-19: Thompson competed during the indoor portion of track & field. Hannah opened her season with a provisionally-qualifying time in the 5,000 meter race (16:43.68) at the GVSU Holiday Open and placed third in the mile at the Youngstown State Icebreaker. Thompson made three new personal records in the 800 meter run (2:19.88), 3,000 meter run (9:40.06), and the mile (4:58.31). At the G-MAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, Thompson placed third in the mile and won the 3,0000 meter race. She was named All-Conference First Team as well as G-MAC All-Academic Team. Thompson qualified for the NCAA DII Indoor Track & Field Championships in both the 3,000 meter and 5,000 meter race. She placed 14th in the 3,000 meter and then 6th in the 5,000 race. Thompson was awarded All-American Honors in the 5,000 meter race.

2017-18: Thompson competed in the 3000 meter run, 5000 meter run, mile run and the distance medley relay team during the indoor track season. At the G-MAC Indoor Championships, Thompson won the 5000 meter run, qualifying for the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships, with a time of 17:03.53 (a career-best time). Nationally, she placed 13th in the event. She also placed 7th at the G-MAC Indoor Championships in the mile with a time of 5:12.45. At the University of Akron College Invitational, she had a new career time in the 3000 meter run at 9:54.41. The distance medley relay team finished 3rd at the SPIRE Midwest Open with a time of 12:13.30. She was a member of the G-MAC All-Academic Team. In the outdoor season, Thompson placed 14th in the 10,000 meter run at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships. She received her first All-Midwest Region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). She won the G-MAC Outdoor Championship in the 5000 meter run with a time of 17:35.34 and placed fourth in the 3000 steeplechase with a career-best time of 10:56.85. Thompson set new career marks in the 5000 meter run (17:14.21) and 10,000 meter run (35:41.48) as well this season. Her time in the 10,000 meter run ranks third in both the Malone and G-MAC record books.

2016-17: During the indoor track season, Thompson competed in the 3000 meter run and 5000 meter run. At the G-MAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, she finished 4th in the 3000 meter run with a time of 10:28.36 and finished 3rd in the 5000 meter run with a time of 17:58.65. During the outdoor season, she competed in the 5000 meter run and 3000 steeplechase events. At the G-MAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, she finished 2nd in the 5000 meter run with a time of 18:01.39 and won the 3000 steeplechase event with a time of 11:05.23, which was a career-best. In the classroom, Thompson was recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association to be a part of the organization's All-Academic Team.

2015-16: Indoor Season best- 5:22.58 in the mile, 10:42.44 in the 3000M, 18:20.82 in the 5000M; Outdoor Season best- 5:00.36 in the 1500M, 18:06.24 in the 5000M, 38:21.62 in the 10,000M, 12:08.40 in the 3.000 Steeple.
