Oilers Track and Field compete in the Flag City Open

Results

Findlay, OH- The University of Findlay Men's and Women's Track and Field teams competed at the Flag City Open in Findlay OH on Friday Feb 18. 

Womens Results-

The Women started off strong with a first place finish in the 60 meter hurdle. Freshman Kylie Ray took first with a time of 8.98 seconds. Freshman Jordan Taylor took first in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.58 seconds. In the 200 meter dash freshman Jordan Taylor finished in 26.46 seconds which also earned her a first place finish. In the women's high jump freshmen Kassandra Stine clearned 1.65 meters which earned her first place. In the pole vault Savannah Amato (unattached) took first place after clearing 4.13 meters which met an NCAA provisional mark.

Mens Results-

Freshman Connor Hill took first place in the Mile Run for the men finishing with a time of 4:30.81. Junior Xavier Marable finished first in the 400 meter dash with a finishing time of 49.62 seconds. Junior Lane Kolb won the 800 meter run finishing in 2 minutes and 4.51 seconds. In the long jump freshmen Gabe Clement took first with a throw of 6.58 meters. In the High jump Junior Cameron Stine took first clearing a height of 1.99 meters.

The Oilers will be back in action on Friday Feb 25 where they will be competing in the GMAC Championship.
