24 Named All-Academic Athletes by the USTFCCCA

 

Findlay, Ohio – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its Division II All- Academic Athletes for the 2021-22 season today Thursday, July 14. The University of Findlay placed 24 athletes on the list and both the men's and women's teams earned status as a Division II All-Academic Teams, as well.

 

The following student-athletes were named to the list:

 

Women (Team GPA: 3.52)

Savannah Amato- Master of Business Administration Program  

Paige Emnett- Intervention Specialist Education

Morgan England- Healthcare Management Major  

Trista Fintel- Social Work  

Nicole Fishpaw- Diagnostic Medical Sonography Major  

Simone Green- Business Administration-Marketing Emphasis Major  

Taylor Ivory- Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary Medicine Option Major  

Lindsey Kluesener- Nursing  

Gabrielle Lawrence- Equestrian Studies-English Riding/Training Emphasis Major  

Madison Myers- Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary Medicine Option Major  

Kylie Ray- Exercise Science for Health Professions Major  

Hannah Thompson- Master of Arts in Professional Communication Program

 

Men (Team GPA: 3.24)

Austin Combs- Master of Arts- Education  

Nick DeHaven- Master of Business Administration Program  

Simon Derstine- Business Administration-Finance Emphasis  

Martin Etsey- Master of Science in Environmental, Safety and Health Management Program  

Noah Fisher- Mathematics  

Jordan Foster- Adolescent/Young Adult/Integrated Mathematics  

Xavier Marable- Master of Arts in Professional Communication Program  

Jacob Michael- Adolescent/Young Adult/Life Science Major  

Alex Mutchler- Business Administration-Marketing Emphasis Major  

Joe Sadowski- Business Administration-Marketing Emphasis  

Josh Verhoff- Nursing  

Isaac Webb- Exercise Science for Health Profession

 

 

To be named an NCAA Division II All-Academic Athlete, individuals must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher and must have achieved an automatic or provisional qualifying mark for either the indoor season or outdoor season.

Overall, there were more than 800 athletes who were named All-Academic Athletes in NCAA Division II Track & Field.
