Oilers 16th In USTFCCCA National Poll

Findlay, Ohio- Track is back!Here is the first release of the NCAA Division II Men's Indoor Track & Field National TFRI, as released on Tuesday, Jan. 24, by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). No marks from previous seasons have been used, which means this objective list is compiled solely of current qualifying marks from the 2023 indoor track & field season.

Pittsburg State enters the 2023 season as the top-ranked team behind 10 national top-10 efforts. The Gorillas have seven of those efforts in the sprints: Xavier Carmichael is the national leader 60 meters at 6.62; TJ Caldwell (No. 2, 7.83) and Daylin Williams (No. 3, 7.85) in the 60-meter hurdles; Bryalen Brewer (No. 2, 47.36), Sam Tudor (No. 6, 47.75c) and Bailey Stone (No. 7, 48.02) in the 400 meters; the 4×400 relay is ranked fourth. In the jumps, Henry Kiner boasts the second-best long jump of the season at 7.71m (25-3½).

The Oilers come in at number sixteen on the national list. Findlay is ranked second in the Midwest Region behind Grand Valley State University.
