The University of Findlay women's basketball team fell 72-54 against Kentucky Wesleyan College on Jan. 26 in Owensboro, Ky. The loss drops the Oilers record to 13-5 on the season with a 9-4 mark in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play.

The Oilers had a tough time getting the ball in the hoop as they were only able to convert 28.3 percent (15-of-53) of their shot attempts. The Panthers meanwhile made 42.3 percent (22-of-52) of their attempts and connected on 12-of-32 (37.5%) three point tries.

Senior forward Anna Hnitz led the Oilers with 11 points and seven rebounds while senior guards Elissa Ellerbrock and Jaclyn Heath had eight points apiece.

Lilly Grimes and Jenna Martin led four Kentucky Wesleyan players in double figures with 12 points apiece.

The Oilers will now return home and prepare to host Cedarville University at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 31.
