Box Score

The University of Findlay women's basketball team earned a 75-66 win over Tiffin University on Feb. 2 in the Croy Physical Education Center. The win gives the Oilers a 15-5 record on the season with an 11-4 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

The Oilers and Dragons battled back and forth all game before Findlay outscored Tiffin 19-9 in the final quarter to claim the victory.

The Oilers shot 44.7 percent (21-of-47) from the floor and hit 31-of-39 (79.5%) attempts from the free throw line in the game. They also recorded 14 steals and held a 42-25 advantage on the boards.

Senior forward Anna Hintz paced the Oilers with 26 points and 12 rebounds for her tenth double-double of the year. Hintz made 5-of-9 attempts from the field and did a lot of her damage from the free throw line where she connected on all 15 of her attempts. The Dragons were led by Sarah Cummings' 17 points.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Feb. 9 when they travel to Hillsdale College to take on the Chargers at 1pm.
